Stonewood Farms is proud to host a 2 day Jo Struby workshop on 
DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE TEACHING SKILLS 
a continuing education experience for seasoned horseback instructors 
(15 instructor maximum)

Standard Workshop - Two Days
DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE TEACHING SKILLS
(a minimum of 100 hours of teaching horseback riding experience is required to attend this level workshop)

bulletFor full or part-time horseback riding instructors of any discipline; a continuing education experience
bulletThe focus is on the teaching-learning dynamics of teaching horseback riding
bulletThis setting provides an opportunity for sharing between instructors of greater and lesser experience
bulletInstructors who complete this workshop will be sent Jo's Certificate of Attendance and Participation
bulletInstructors who complete this workshop will be set Jo's Annual Letter; her once a year complimentary newsy letter

This workshop is designed to have less experienced instructors rub elbows with even very tenured riding instructors.  This standard format is NOT designed for the instructor still "in training."

Instructors who complete both days receive Jo's Certificate of Attendance and Participation sent by US mail following the workshop.  The record of each completion is kept on a database by Jo.  Her workshops are recognized by the National Organizations that certify or license riding instructors such as the ARICP, CHA, USDF and the State of Massachusetts as a worthwhile experience to prepare/maintain certification.  Contact the certification program of your choice for their particular guidelines.
