Holly Sands is our Sr. on-site trainer, instructor, and facility
manager.
She started riding at a very young
age as a member of the Benning Pony Club. Coming from a
military family, she has had the opportunity to show all across
the country. As a junior exhibitor she showed everything
from Hunters and Jumpers to Western Equitation. After
graduating high school, she attended Meredith
Manor International Equestrian Center in West Virginia, an
accredited post-secondary school that trains men and women for a
career in the horse industry. She earned her Riding
Instructor and Riding Master Certification there and was
fortunate enough to win the Class High Point Award and
Showmaster Championship. She served as the Director of
Instruction at the Benning
Pony Club. She has competed in Hunter, Jumper,
Equitation, and Combined Training for over 30 years and has been
teaching for more than 20 years.

Stephanie Spiece

Stephanie has been riding for 17
years and especially enjoys working with young horses and making
it fun for riders to get a good foundation for their riding. She
started riding at a hunter/jumper barn and bought her first horse
when she was 12 years old. She showed at local and rated hunter
shows for the next three years before moving to a nearby show
jumping and eventing barn. This barn was also a big advocate of
pony club, so she was then introduced to Manada Creek Pony Club.
She was in pony club for three or four years and trained with Mary
Schwentker, a certified event trainer, for 5 years. She has also
been fortunate enough to participate in some clinics with Lucinda
Green, an Olympic rider from Great Britain. She and her husband
bought their farm in Dillsburg two years ago and they currently
have three horses which are competing in eventing and dressage.
She is an active member of the United States Equestrian Federation
and also the United States Eventing Association. |
