Holly Sands is our on-site trainer, instructor, and facility manager.

Holly started riding at a very young age as a member of the Benning Pony Club with British Event rider Del Greenwell. Coming from a military family, she has had the opportunity to show all across the country and overseas. As a junior exhibitor she showed everything from Hunters and Jumpers, Equitation, Eventing to Western Equitation. During that time, Holly rode with US and Prussian calvary officers, General Coverdale and Arnold Von Beenenstamp as well as Hunter/Jumper/Equitation trainers Connie Curtis-Willard, Sally Goldstein, and cliniced with numerous other top professionals. After graduating high school, she attended Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre in West Virginia and earned her Riding Instructor and Riding Master Certification there and won the Class High Point Award and Showmaster Championship. At Meredith Manor, Holly had the opportunity to ride with Kay Meredith, Denis Callin and Jo Struby. Over the years she has ridden in numerous clinics with Hans Muller, Bengt Lundquist, Jim Wofford and currently with Sally Cousins and Kim Walnes. She served as the Director of Instruction for various Pony Clubs and is currently one of the trainers for the York College of Pennsylvania Equestrian Team. She has successfully competed in Hunter, Jumper, Equitation, and Combined Training for almost 40 years and has been teaching for more than 30 years.
