Stonewood Farms Riders and Horses

Event Derby

The Event Derbys this year will be run as a Combined Test, Dressage Show and Schooling. We will offer CT Divisions in Elementary, Beginner Novice, Novice and Training. Dressage only/extra classes will be offered at Intro through First Level. We will set two separate Show Jumping courses in the hunt field - one course will go with the Combined Test and the other will be set for additional schooling rounds at each level so riders will have the opportunity to jump two entirely different courses at their level or try a different level. The Cross Country courses will be marked and open for paid schooling in the afternoon.

Team Challenge

The Team Challenge will be held on he outside hunt course and will include cross country and stadium type jumps. Teams of three riders will ride their course separately with scores for all combined for a team score - lowest score wins.

Blue Gray Hunter Show Series

We will host one of the Blue Gray Hunter Show Series shows on August 8.  The Blue Gray Show series provides a fantastic list of classes offering fun competition, great prizes, very reasonable entry fees, no grounds fees and a great way to get you and your horse competing in a low stress environment.  We have enjoyed the series for a few years now and it is always one of the favorites of our students and boarders.  For more information on the Blue Gray Series check their website www.bluegrayhorseshows.com

Beaufort Hunt Hunter Trials and Show

Again this year we will host the Beaufort Hunter Trials and Show!  We LOVE this wonderful group of people and look forward to this show every year!  Beaufort Hunt offers great classes in the arena, on the outside hunt course and optimum time cross country classes over fences and on the flat.  Prize lists will be out soon so look for them in your local tack and feed stores!

Jumpers Only Shows

July 10 & September 4

Each show will have 4 divisions:  2', 2'6", 3', and 3'6".  Each division will have 3 classes: Gambler's Choice, Timed First Jumpoff, and Power and Speed.
